Beta-blockers are prescribed to people to treat heavy sweating however, they are not as effective as anticholinergics. Many people who suffer from heavy sweating are also very anxious people and some times medicines that treat depression and anxiety help these include Prozac and Zoloft.

If you have exhausted all the above means with still no advance and still suffer from heavy sweating surgery or treatments such as Botox may be an option. There are a number of surgical procedures that you can have it is up to you and your doctor to choose the one that is the best for you. Different surgeries work better for different parts of the body where you sweat heavy such as head, armpit, hands and feet.
