Tumeric - This is used for many things, and has been widely used for centuries in the medical field. It is good for inflammation. You can safely take up to 400 mg three times each day. This also alleviates muscle pain and soreness.

Ciwujia - This is a common herb used in Chinese medicine. It increases oxygenation in the heart muscles. Studies have shown that it improves zhe performance during workouts. It increase fat metabolism, as opposed to carbohydrate metabolism by up to 43% while exercising. It also reduces muscle fatigue.

There are many other useful herbs that are used in bodybuilding, and as you can see from this small example, herbal medicine really does have a place in the world of bodybuilding.
