Wouldn't be great if we suddenly found ourselves wealthy — or at least in possession of enough money to buy all of the fitness equipment on our "I-want-that-someday" list? I've heard of people who have all the equipment that anyone could ever wish for in their home gyms. I've never met one of these creatures personally, but I've heard they exist. I'm not one of them, and you probably aren't, either.

No, most of us live on a budget, and gym equipment expenditures, if not on the bottom of the list, are at least pretty close to the bottom. When we have a few dollars to spend, we have to make sure we get as much "bang" for the buck as possible.

Cable pulley systems are home gym equipment that we all want. We want a cable/pulley system that has high and low capabilities. We want to have the equipment to do those great isolated exercises like lat-bar pull downs, seated rows, and triceps pushdowns, and a great cable pulley system could provide that for us.

If you are building your home gym a piece at the time like most of us are, a cable pulley system should certainly be on your list. The exercises that a cable pulley system make possible are certainly helpful in reaching muscle mass goals, but fortunately for those of us who have to build our home gyms a little at a time, a cable pulley system isn't absolutely essential. It's nice, but it isn't absolutely necessary in order to achieve building muscle.

When that wonderful day does arrive, however, when you can afford to add the cable pulley system to your home gym, you want to look for one that has nylon-coated cables with test strengths of at least 1,500 lbs. A cable pulley system should come with at least a three-year warranty as well.

So if you want your muscles to recover faster and want to grow bigger muscles after your workouts, supplementation with antioxidants may help. There are many antioxidants supplements in the market. Vitamin A, C and E are perhaps the better known free radical fighters out there. Some other excellent free radical scavengers are Green Tea extract, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Beta Carotene etc

So our mums although may not have known about antioxidants and its effect of free radicals on our body was right when they insisted that we take our vitamins. Do protect your muscles and general health with antioxidants.
